LEAPP provided master planning services in conjunction with the Taipei firm of ATCI in the preparation of the Airport Master Plan for Kaohsiung International Airport. The project involved:

Examination of the airside layout of the airport, check of compliance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices

• Runway Exits Review
Simulation of runway operations to determine optimum runway exit configuration to minimise runway occupancy and optimise runway operations under high volume of traffic demands

• Review of Master Plan Proposals
Assessment of airport development proposals

• Simulation of Airside Operations
Simulation of the airside system using the SIMMOD airside simulation software using forecast future aircraft mix at KHH to determine airside capacity.
