BHUTAN ADB GRANT 0295: AIR TRANSPORT CONNECTIVITY ENHANCEMENT PROJECT DOMESTIC AIRPORTS DETAIL DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISION

Following the successful completion of the project TA7633-BHU Air Transport Connectivity Enhancement Project in June 2012, and, at the request of the Royal Government of Bhutan, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) agreed to provide a grant of USD 6.92M to implement the priority infrastructure items identified in the TA7633-BHU project.  These priority items essentially comprised the planning, design and construction works for three domestic airports at Yongphula, Bumthang and Gelephu.

As part of the grant 0295 from ADB to construct and supervise the development of three domestic  airports in Bhutan, LEAPP team provides design and planning for a new  domestic terminal building at Bumthang Airport. Work performed includes development of planning parameters, building concept design, architectural design development and architectural final design.

MALAYSIA KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL - COMMISSIONING AND CONSTRUCTION REVIEW

LEAPP completed a review of the commissioning and construction work for the new Kuala Lumpur International Airport. This led to a compliance assurance and facilitation for the opening of the new airport and the subsequent transfer of operations from the old airport, to the new. This task also included carrying out a check of the engineering design compared to the actual construction performed as part of a quality control mechanism to ensure the safety of the airport to all users.

MALAYSIA KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL - AIRSIDE PLANNING AND APRON RECONFIGURATION

LEAPP was appointed by Malaysia Airports Sdn Bhd to design and confirms the allocation number of parking stands that can accommodate the increasing number of Flight B737-800W, A380 and B77-300ER as well as to cater for maximum of Code C and all associates works at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

MALAYSIA MALACCA AIRPORT - SPAERO HANGAR PROPOSED TAXIWAY DETAIL DESIGN & SUPERVISION

The Consultant shall be responsible for carrying out the following tasks to undertake planning, design and project management services for development of a taxiway connection from the existing SPAERO Hangar to the runway at the Melaka International Airport and establishment of additional aircraft parking stands. Specification and supervision of topographical survey and geotechnical test pits and materials testing.  Evaluation of sub-surface soil conditions.  Engineering design for a new taxiway.  Design of taxiway markings.  Preparation of specifications, drawings and tender documents.
